At Team Lars, we embrace grand delusions.
The team? Just me and myself.
PR department (also me): "We should call it a solo exhibition." Me: "I love it—perfect for my ego. But you do realize there are only seven paintings?" PR: "You’re the only artist in the room, aren’t you?" Me: "Fair point."
2:14 AM – PR sends a reminder: "Lars, don’t forget your artist statement. Make it sexy." The online department chimes in: "And please, for the love of art, don’t send me another long-winded patchwork of trauma reflections that I have to cut down."
RE:ECHO
„What lingers when an experience fades? What stays, what shifts?
Painting, for me, is about allowing space for whatever emerges. Memories aren’t fixed; they dissolve, take new shape, or resurface in unexpected ways. These works aren’t conclusions but fragments of an ongoing conversation—between past and possibility, between holding on and letting go.
Some traces disappear. Others remain. Some break open to make way for something new. This exhibition invites you to sit with the unresolved—and maybe find something of your own within it.“
